Catch Up

Apologies for the lack of posts people. This week has been a bit hectic. With Mother's day just around the corner, the Yummy Mummies of Brighton just can't get enough chocolate!

In other job related news, had an interview for a proper grown up job on Tuesday. I wanted to do a post about work wear, but then I didn't get the job, which made me feel a tad malevolent towards the world of work.  Anyway here are a couple from snaps form the week. and yes, I realise I have an unhealthy obsession with nautical stripes...

p.s. during the feed back session (re: the job that got away) I was told that my outfit was lovely, so I will try and get some photos of it up later in the week.

Taking inspiration from the beautiful Joan Seberg, I went for the breton (standard) and an old pair of baggy jeans. turn ups made the whole thing feel summery, and pink ballet pumps kept the look feminine (well that was the idea at any rate).

Reading when there are a multitude of
important things that need to get done- standard.

Breton Top, H&M, £7.99
Jeans, American Eagle, (£? purchased many years ago)
Never had much luck with the 'up-do' look, but, for a change, thought I'd give it a crack. Also this was the day we had a large Easter delivery (again important time of year when your in chocolate) which means an early start with little time for beautifying.

Over sized T-shirt, H&M, (again a rather antiquated purchase)
Cardigan,Charcoal,  Zara, £9.99 (sale)
Tights, Navy, Marks and Spencer ,£2
As per usual no camera/tripod/obliging photographer, meant it was a DIY number. the only real changes from the previous day are: tights in place of jeans, an elongated breton, and the addition of a cardi.

Hope everyones having a good week xxx
